TeamGroup marries Ryzen 3000 with the Cardea Zero Z440 SSD and DDR4 DARK Zα memory

TeamGroup presented two new products aimed at gamers and optimized for the match AMD Ryzen 3000 is motherboards with X570 chipset. Specifically, the Taiwanese company presented a new model of memory modules DDR4 called T-Force Dark Zα and a new one PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD of the series T-Force from the name Cardea ZERO Z440.

The T-FORCE Dark Zα memory modules have a design inspired by a knight equipped with armor to guarantee – even visually – the feeling of power and robustness. There are no RGB to characterize these modules, but a simple and refined one black coloring with electrolytic anodizing process to improve its corrosion resistance and make it non-conductive.

The logo stands out in the center, in aluminum like the whole structure only 0.8 mm thick. For these T-Force modules were used high quality memory chip, selected after undergoing testing processes. It is not clear who the manufacturer is at the moment.

These chips would ensure a large overclocking margin and high compatibility with AMD Ryzen 3000 processors. For the dissipation of the heat produced, there is a heat conducting pad which helps transfer heat from the chips to the aluminum alloy cover.

T-FORCE Dark Zα modules are available in 16 GB (8 GB x 2) and 32 GB (16 GB x 2) kits in three speed variants: 3200 MHz CL16-18-18-38 ($ 79 for the 16 GB kit, $ 154 for the 32 GB kit); 3600 MHz CL18-22-22-42 ($ 89 for the 16 GB kit, $ 169 for the 32 GB kit); 4000 MHz CL18-22-22-42 ($ 99 for the 16 GB kit, $ 189 for the 32 GB kit).

As is well known, the X570 platform is the first to support the PCIe 4.0 interface. To take full advantage of this feature, TeamGroup also presented the Cardea Zero Z440, a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD available in 1 and 2 TB capacity.

The Cardea Zero Z440 can achieve 5000 MB / s in sequential reading is 4400 MB / s in sequential writing, while random performance stands at 750,000 IOPS for reading and writing. The M.2 SSD also stands out for one copper foil with graphene coating 1mm thick which should improve cooling performance. TeamGroup's recommended price for this SSD is $ 249 for the 1 TB version and $ 499 for the 2 TB version.
