The Facebook failure on Monday lasted six hours and resulted in shutting down not only the main website, but also Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. Many of us have been deprived of the possibility of contact with loved ones, so it is not surprising that we began to look for an alternative using competitor’s messengers, such as Telegram.

Millions of new users were recorded on the same day, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov said. More specifically, it is about the 70 million new accounts registered in the messenger.
