Test – FSP Raider II 750
| Specs | Price

Hi everyone!

After some “gamer” oriented power supplies from FSP, I will present the latest brand, the Raider II 750! Indeed FSP is known for its entry-level power supplies that I have often recommended for low-budget configurations but also its high-end models like the Aurum, Hydro G and X and so on! Today it is the Raider S range which is updated, with the program an 80Plus Silver certification, a single 12V rail as well as powers ranging from 450 to 750 for a price of 60 to 100 €, let’s see what the little last gives in practice!

On the front of the box there is a photo of the beast as well as of course the logo of the brand and the model. In addition to that there is a small listing of its strengths, namely the 80Plus Silver certification, 100% Japanese capacitors, flat cables, 5 year warranty etc. On the other hand, a small “VR Ready” is also affixed, it’s hard for me to see how a power supply can be “VR Ready”, but I usually have a hard time with anything marketing related 😉
At the rear another listing takes again the strong points, adding other things, like the single 12V rail, the silent 12 cm fan etc.

On the sides all the useful information is present, whether it is the number of cables with the associated connectors or a power distribution table as well as some graphics showing the evolution of the sound level and the efficiency according to the load .

When opening the box, we find the food in its plastic bag surrounded by cardboard, nothing very special, transport should not be a problem.

Regarding the FSP bundle provides a power cord as well as a small manual and 4 screws, the minimum union to connect the Raider II, nothing more!
