Twitter user once again “TUM APISAK”Gave us a preview of the performance of one of the Nvidia cards. This time he revealed the GeForce RTX 2070 test in 3DMark Timespy, which is one of the most popular benchmarks.
Unfortunately, instead of a purely graphical performance screenshot, the graphics show the overall performance of the hardware. This one was equipped with an Intel Core i7-8700K and the aforementioned RTX 2070 card from ZOTAC. In this configuration, it allowed to reach 8151 points, and the test itself showed that the card is capable of achieving a clock speed of 1950 MHz on the core. What is important, however, is that the GTX 1080 paired with the same (unclamped) processor scores around 7,500 points in the same test. It is faster, but without great revelations … especially in terms of price. The benchmark, on the other hand, has been hidden in the official database, so we don’t have a look at the details.
You probably know that the GeForce RTX 2070 will be able to boast a 12nm TU106 core with a size of 445 mm2. The one on board will have 2304 CUDA cores, 36 RT and 288 Tensor. On the computing side, there are 144 TMUs and 64 ROPs. In turn, the basic GPU clock itself is to be 1410 MHz in basic mode. On the memory side, we have 8 GB GDDR6 with a 256-bit bus and a bandwidth of 448 GB / s. On the side of the video outputs, we can count on 3 DisplayPorts 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0b. In turn, the TDP RTX 2070 is to reach 175 W, and the price for the Founders Edition is to be $ 599. We have to wait a few days to find out how much it will really cost in Poland, because its premiere was scheduled for October 17.
