Realme 5 Pro
Realme is a company that has been making sparks lately. The company does not deny even in the range under 200 euros, given that Realme 5 Pro is certainly one of the best low cost solutions on the market.
The device has convinced critics and audiences mainly thanks to above average performance, to the good constructive solidity, to the granite autonomy and to the photographic sector that does not disappoint the expectations. Speaking of the main flaws, the latter are to be found in the customization of the operating system, which according to many has a UI to be reviewed (ColorOS 7 should soon arrive anyway), and in the design that not everyone likes (it is clearly about tastes ). The connectivity compartment is quite complete: Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5, 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and USB Type-C port are in place. Redmi Note 8T
In a "ranking" linked to best low cost smartphones, we cannot fail to mention Redmi Note 8T. It is, in fact, one of the devices that has most convinced Italians in recent months. Although in March 2020 it is not the best-selling smartphone in this range on Amazon Italy, Redmi Note 8T, or in any case its "associate" Redmi Note 8, has covered this position for a long time.
On the other hand, we are talking about a device that has convinced both critics and the public. It must be said that the smartphone started from a good "base", given that the predecessor Redmi Note 7 is remembered very well by enthusiasts. There are, however, some sore points, from some software deburring to performance only in line with the price range, passing through the differences not too marked with the previous generation. Pulling the strings of the speech, Redmi Note 8T is in any case an excellent smartphone and fans of this range can definitely go without fail. The device is currently sold at a price of about 145 euros on Amazon Italy through resellers (3 / 32GB model, we have tried the 4 / 64GB variant instead, which at the time of writing is unavailable).
Redmi 8A
For those who use the smartphone only to use some instant messaging application, read emails and little else, an interesting solution could be Redmi 8A. We are talking about a low cost device launched in the second half of 2019. Its price is set at just 120 euros on Amazon Italy through resellers (model 2 / 32GB).
The device is mainly chosen for autonomy, since it is present on board a 5000 mAh battery. However, this is not the only interesting specification of the Redmi 8A data sheet, since we also find the triple slot (Dual nanoSIM + microSD) and the connectivity compartment is all in all complete (there are headphone jacks, USB Type-C, 4G LTE, but NFC is missing). As you can imagine, however, it is a "limited" device from different points of view, from the screen with only HD + resolution to sub-optimal performance, but they are all aspects to be taken into account in advance when buying a device with such a reduced price. Xiaomi Mi A3
Xiaomi Mi A3 is a smartphone that makes you discuss as soon as you pronounce its name. To be clear, this is that device that has divided the critics and the public in half because of the presence of an AMOLED panel with only HD + resolution (and not Full HD, as some fans would have liked). However, the launch of the device took place in July 2019 and the smartphone now costs 198 euros on Amazon Italy through resellers (model 4 / 64GB). Thanks to the price drop and the excellent general quality, the device has now become decidedly interesting and therefore deserves to be included in this "ranking".
If you are wondering what are the main strengths of the device, you must know that Mi A3 gives its best in the audio sector, in good performance, in granite autonomy, in the complete software and in thejoining the Google Android One program. Instead present the 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and the USB Type-C port. Summing up, Xiaomi Mi A3 is a smartphone that can certainly be interesting for a certain type of user.
Market choice: Samsung Galaxy A40
As for the device of this best-selling range in the Amazon Bestseller smartphone ranking, this month the first place goes to Samsung Galaxy A40. Arrived in Italy in 2019, we are talking about a device that convinced the critics because of the excellent display, the good camera, the complete connectivity compartment (there are triple slots, USB Type-C port and NFC) and the usual software offered by the South Korean company. However, there is no lack of sore points: autonomy is below average and constructive solidity is not at the top. In short, this is a good but not exceptional smartphone, which however can be attractive for a price of 185 euros on Amazon Italy through resellers (model 4 / 64GB).
Upcoming Arrivals: Wiko View4, Sony Xperia L4 and Samsung Galaxy A11
