This time it concerns not so much everyday necessities or food, but graphics cards, the price of which has increased significantly to the point where the RTX 3070 Ti in Russia currently costs about 200,000 rubles (~ 8,000 PLN), of which the minimum monthly salary in the country in January it was 13,890 rubles (via Mash).

The scale of the problem can be seen immediately, which led some employees of the Russian company Wildberries to steal 20 RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards from the warehouse, which is the equivalent of several hundred lowest domestic payouts in Russia. While the theft itself was fine, forcing it for profit caused criminals to burst in when trying to sell them at a pawnshop and attracted attention.

The store owner informed the authorities that dealt with the thieves about an unusual event. The criminals were eventually arrested and the graphics cards confiscated and returned to their rightful owners.
