The first rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4

Samsung’s new foldable devices debuted in August, but the first leaks about their direct successors, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4, have already appeared.

But back to the point. A Korean source claims that the new generation of Samsung folders will bring camera technology under the display in both models. In the Galaxy Z Fold3, such a selfie camera was found only in the internal screen, but in Fold4 the manufacturer will also use this technology in the external screen. In the case of Galaxy Z Flip4, the matter is not so obvious, because apparently Samsung is developing two prototypes – one with a camera under the display, and the other with a traditional hole. The company also plans to improve the hinges on both models.

It is said that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will bring significant improvements in terms of cameras, although the leak here does not specify the photographic possibilities, but they are to be similar to what is currently offered by high-end smartphones. In addition, the Flip4 will get better water and dust resistance, as well as the same battery capacity and external display size as the Flip3.

The premiere of Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 is to take place in a similar period as the debut of this year’s assemblies, i.e. around August 2022.
