The unique electric cargo bike Fulpra L1 was presented at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich. Unique because, although we have seen a lot of ebike freight, this one seems to be a model that could actually replace traditional delivery vans on city streets.
The Fulpra L1 electric cargo bike impresses with its delivery capabilities
The Fulpra L1 electric cargo bike comes down to the construction of a tricycle, which can be described as if someone had thrown a human-sized cuboid behind the saddle and attached two wheels to it. In other words, it’s a bike with an integrated trailer with a load capacity of 3,000 liters and 350 kilograms. Importantly, the connection between them allows this front half to be tilted during turns, guaranteeing a narrower turning radius.

These are large dimensions, so the Fulpra L1 electric cargo bike supports the rider with a 1000-watt motor that generates the entire 130 Nm of torque, but has a speed limit at 25 km / h. It draws energy from an undisclosed battery system from Cleantron with a range of up to 80 km on a single charge (with two modules). The entire drive, based on a chain, which unscrews the rear wheels, is hidden so that even downpours are not terrible.

The rest of the Fulpra L1 components include huge disc brakes, LED safety lights, GPS, Bluetooth, and several other data tracking systems. At the moment, Fulpra only accepts orders for the L1, but does not mention the delivery date or even the price. At least in public.
