The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch Gamer Monitor, Mini LED panel, 4K and 240 Hz goes on sale

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 gaming monitor is now available to order internationally. The 32-inch model is priced at $1,499 and distribution will begin alongside official sales on June 6 in the United States.

The monitor received the “Best of Innovation” award in the Gaming category at this year’s CES.

The Odyssey Neo G8 features a 32-inch 1000R curved display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1 millisecond response time. The resolution is 4K, with DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and the brightness that the screen can reach is up to 2,000 nits, through its panel with Quantum Mini LEDs and Quantum HDR 2000.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is compatible with the technologies AMD FreeSync y NVIDIA G-Sync Adaptive-Sync. Among the connectivity options of the model are two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4 and two USB 3.0 type A.

Samsung should soon present a new version of the Odyssey Neo G7, with specifications quite similar to the already known G8. Among the differences, are the lower refresh rate, 165 Hz, and the also lower brightness, with the capacity to reach 1,000 nits.

4K resolution and 32-inch screen size should also be kept on this modelas well as Adaptive-Sync support and a response time of just 1 ms.
