This weird GeForce RTX 4090 has a built-in spirit level

Over the years we have seen video cards with extravagant colors, more or less elaborate designs and the most disparate sizes. What we lacked was the video card with the integrated level. Yes, you read that right, the small Chinese manufacturer 51RISC has started marketing via sites like AliExpress the GeForce RTX 4090 Gamer, a custom solution that, on the side, has a level like the one used on construction sites.

The oddity actually has a small technical reason, which is to check if the video card needs a bracket to be held in place: video cards like the GeForce RTX 4090, in fact, are very heavy and for this reason they could flex and damage the PCI Express slots (es same).

The further curiosity that the Chinese manufacturer has not included any support bracket in the bundle with the card: in short, the level informs whether the card is “level” or not, but then it is up to the buyer to buy a possible support bracket just in case.
