Twitter introduces recording function in “Live Rooms”

Allegro will facilitate shopping thanks to the image search function

“Live Rooms” hit Twitter some time ago, allowing users to listen to interesting conversations on a variety of topics. The biggest downside to this option, however, is that you have to be present during the broadcast.

Luckily Twitter decided to do something about it

Obviously, we don’t always have time to participate in a given live broadcast. In such cases, we simply lose it, or rather, because the website is introducing a new function, thanks to which we will be able to listen to audio from the Rooms live at a convenient time. Until now, the presenters could obtain a recording from the broadcast from Twitter, because the website stored it on its servers, but it required access, and the whole process could take up to several days.

In October, however, tests for iOS users started, and now the new feature has been implemented for everyone, including those using Android. Of course, the hosts can record live in the Rooms, and the recording can be made available up to 30 days after the end of the broadcast. Importantly, it is available with the same visual indicators and profile links that were seen during the live event.
