Ukraine orders Asus to stop shipping hardware to Russia

The deputy prime minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov makes an order to Asus to stop shipping hardware to Russia. The release was thrown through his Twitter official and prayed the following:

“Day 15 of the invasion: Russian tanks and missiles continue to kill peaceful Ukrainians! @ASUS, the Russians have no moral right to use their brilliant technology! It is for peace, not for war!” – Fedorov tweeted on Thursday.

Asus is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of pre-built PCs and laptops, as well as a major supplier of components to PC and peripheral manufacturers.

Recently, various PC technology companies such as AMD, Intel and Nvidia have discontinued their business activity in Russia. However, some of the major PC component manufacturers have not yet made their intentions clear.

A formal request addressed to the president of the company

To this Twitter post, Fedorov has added a formal request for Asus to consider ceasing hardware and software supply, as well as ceasing technical support in the Russian Federation. The official letter is addressed to Jonney Shih who is the public face of Asus.

We are still not sure if the president of Asus will respect said request, but if Fedorov’s request is fulfilled, Asus would join the many other companies such as Apple, Netflix, Epic Games, Blizzard, IBM GooglePlaystation/Sony and so many others, who have stopped doing business with Russia.

And what do you think of Fedorov’s request to the president of Asus? Will he pay attention?
