What is NVIDIA Blackwell? It is a hitherto unknown architecture

The Videocardz service has acquired information on the new NVIDIA graphics processors. Thanks to them, we can answer the question of what NVIDIA Blackwell is and when it will come.

Ada, Hopper and Blackwell – these are the GPUs prepared by NVIDIA

At the moment, in stores you will find GeForce RTX 3000 cards, i.e. those with graphics processors codenamed Ampere. We also know that NVIDIA is already preparing a successor to these models in the form of the RTX 4000 GPU “Ada” Lovelace, which will reportedly hit the market in the following versions: AD102, AD103, AD104, AD106, AD107 and AD10B with an unknown configuration.

Interesting information also applies to the Hopper and Blackwell architecture, because it seems that these are families not for players, as in the case of Ada, but for data centers. According to this leak, the NVIDIA Hopper architecture is to come down to two GPUs – GH100 and GH202, while the Blackwell architecture is to release GB100 and GB102 to the world. So these are typical NVIDIA plays in the professional world, where the offer of different physical GPUs is less diluted.
