WhatsApp beta gets a voice memo player

The latest update of the WhatsApp messenger beta version adds the long-awaited functionality of the voice memo player.

Already in January, we wrote that in the beta version of WhatsApp, available to testers, there was a voice memo player that allows you to play “voices” in the background. This means that when playing back the received recordings, you will be able to go to the home screen or other applications over which the voice memo player will simply be displayed. It is to contain buttons for stopping, resuming and dismissing a voice note, as well as a progress bar. Thanks to this novelty, we can easily catch up with all voicemails, without having to interrupt other activities on the phone.

Two months have passed and, according to WABetaInfo, the functionality appeared in the beta version 2.22.7.21, now available to all interested users. It is worth mentioning, however, that for the time being the update does not allow this for everyone, although it seems only a matter of time.
