Material You, introduced with Android 12, is one of the most promoted features. Which smartphones will get it? A list has appeared.
Material You is a new design language that not only Pixel owners will be able to enjoy
While advertising the new Android, Google boasted about many features, although the most attention was paid to Material You. This is a function that will allow you to automatically adjust the color accents of the system and the application to the set wallpaper. Google also reserved this option for its smartphones, but as XDA Developers reports, more people will be able to enjoy dynamic themes.
The list was created from a code validation found in Google’s Material Components library. Thanks to this, we know that the function will appear on smartphones from:
- Oppo,
- really,
- OnePlus,
- Vivo,
- Xiaomi,
- Motorola,
- Itel,
- Tecno Mobile,
- Infinix,
- HMD Global (Nokia),
- Sharp,
- Sony,
- TCL,
- Lenovo.
Samsung, for example, is not on the list. It is also worth remembering that the overlays offered by individual manufacturers can change the appearance of Material You to some extent.
