You have not seen such an advanced jacket before. Here is PYKRS in four different versions

The Spanish startup PYKRS decided to take the characteristic technologies from smart bike helmets and introduce them to its advanced PYKRS cycling jacket (yes, it’s the same name), which is available in Lite, regular, Pro and X-Pro versions for 174, 199, 279 and 349 euro (at a promotional price on Kickstarter at the moment).

The company definitely did well with the various PYKRS models, offering “something for everyone”. So the Lite version does not contain any electronics, but comes with an insulated, three-layer, waterproof, windproof and breathable shell made of 100 percent recycled plastic. This is definitely the “base” for the next version, which is complemented by a detachable hood, padded neck area, fully sealed seams, ventilation openings under the arms, two breast pockets, two hand warming pockets and an internal smartphone pocket.

The basic version (PYKRS) begins with technological additions, because this jacket already offers three built-in heating elements powered by two removable lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 4000 mAh and controlled by the included application. This combination allows the inside of the jacket to be warmed to a temperature of 35 to 55 ° C. The Pro variant adds a three-axis accelerometer that detects impacts that may occur during a fall from a height and, in the event of no reaction from the user, inform the previously selected contacts about this incident.

PYKRS X-Pro is additionally equipped with … flashlights, or rather light sources in the form of four light panels (two at the front of the arms and two at the back). Using the app, they can be set to either shine steadily or flash. In each model, all electronic elements are resistant to washing, except for the battery, or rather the power bank, because when unplugged, it can charge e.g. smartphones.
