8.8 Computer Security Conference announces its tenth version in Chile for October

The most important cybersecurity meeting in Chile turns a decade in 2020 and has already confirmed the dates for this great event, which will take place on October 30 and 31, at the imposing Mapocho Station.

Under the motto LEGENDS, this pioneering national hacking meeting will commemorate its first ten years of existence with a grill of 14 exhibitors where all have the distinction of being Cybersecurity legends, several have not even visited South America.

8.8 Computer Security Conference It is a 100% technical and academic event, whose main objective is to share information, democratize knowledge and create community. 8dot8 is the only conference of its kind in Chile and one of the most recognized on the continent because it goes beyond the theoretical aspects, always in a colorful framework and with constant references to the world of pop culture. A relevant point is that this will be the first event of its kind in the world to obtain an ISO 20211 certification. This certification indicates that good sustainability practices are applied throughout the production cycle of the event.

Hacker Culture Festival

The Hacker Culture Festival, will be composed of 36 themed stands or “Villas” of the themes that revolve around Cybersecurity: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Remote Work, IoT and Bigdata, Cloud, Communities, Women in ICT, Conscious Children, Comic, Tattoos, Video Games and Job Bank.

It also includes admission to the Hacker Culture Festival (all themed Villas). The other entry modalities are a VIP entrance (Meet & Greet) -with access to the exhibitors- and another only for access to the Fair.
