Alleged Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake appears in benchmark with 24 cores and 32 threads

More than four months have passed since the launch of the 12th generation Intel Core processors, known as Alder Lake. And in the last few months we also had several leaks of the next generation of CPU, Raptor Lake. But today it is the turn of a K-series i9 CPU to appear in a benchmark of the game Ashes of Singularity.

The Intel Core i9-13900K was already the subject of rumors where it was said that it would arrive with 24 cores and 32 threads, maintaining the set of hybrid nuclei. Of those cores, eight are performance cores (P-Core with Raptor Cove architecture) and 16 are efficiency cores (E-Core based on Gracemont). The previous generation has 16 cores in total, dividing the P-Core and E-Core equally.

The Raptor Lake processor is accompanied by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 and 32 GB of DDR5 memory. In the ranking image, the i9-13900K CPU, identified as “Genuine Intel”, ranked third with 13,400 points, 700 behind the Intel Core i9-12900KF.

The new flagship of the 13th generation Intel Core lineup can arrive with at least 68 MB of cache (L2+L3), 24 MB more than the 12th generation, being the direct answer to AMD’s 3D V-Cache (which is 96MB on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D). Intel will bring a new microarchitecture to the P-Core, debuting at Raptor Cove, and will update Gracemont from the E-Core. The Raptor Lake family is expected to launch later this year.

  • Intel Core i7 K (8 Raptor Cove + 8 Gracemont): 16 núcleos, 24 subprocesos
  • Intel Core i5K (6 Raptor Cove + 8 Gracemont): 14 núcleos, 20 subprocesos
  • Intel Core i5 S (6 Raptor Cove + 4 Gracemont): 14 núcleos — 16 subprocesos
  • Intel Core i3 S (4 Raptor Cove + 0 Gracemont): 4 núcleos — 8 subprocesos
  • Intel Pentium S (2 Raptor Cove + 0 Gracemont): 4 núcleos — 4 subprocesos
