Alleged GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition appears in a shot: real or fake photo?

The photo of one divides the fans presunta GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition, posted on Twitter by leaker KittyYukko. With a design very similar to the top of the range of the RTX 3000 series, the board photographed presents a larger fan, of a size such as to intersect the outer frame. The fan also appears to have a revised design.

For the rest, the alleged photo of one of the new NVIDIA cards arriving by the end of the year does not tell us much about the product: it is not clear whether it is a solution dual o triple slot so much of the discussion among enthusiasts focused on the logo. Logo which, indeed, different from the previous series.

At first glance it would be like shouting the fake, but the Videocardz site he points out that NVIDIA recently introduced a new font (NVIDIA Sans NALA) on its official website which looks quite similar to the one on the card, as shown by a comparison. The company could therefore also introduce it on new products.

The GeForce RTX 4080 is expected to be announced at the GTC on September 20, during the NVIDIA CEO’s keynote, ahead of a debut between October and November. As for the technical specifications, there are rumors of a card based on the AD103 GPU with 9728 CUDA core and 16 GB of GDDR6X memory at 23 Gbps on a 256-bit bus. The TGP should settle at 340W.

Finally, we recall that in May alleged photos of the heatsink of a model of the new series circulated, but even in that case it was not possible to establish whether it was a fake or a real photo.
