AMD FSR 2.0, the patrol of games that support upscaling technology is growing

Six new games they will be added to the list of titles they support FSR 2.0bringing the calculation to 34for a total of 120 compatible (or future) productions by adding FSR 1.0 and FSR 2.0.

It is about Dying Light 2 Stay HumanEdge of the Abyss Awaken, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Saints Row and Shibainu – VR Katana Simulator, in addition to the recently announced Lies of P. Also Thymesia e The Bridge Curse Road to Salvation recently released support the technology.

FSR 2.0 represents the second iteration of the AMD’s upscaling technology. Unlike NVIDIA’s DLSS, AMD’s solution is open source and is compatible with both proprietary and competitor video cards, including Intel’s Arc proposals.

Compared to version 1.0 based on a spatial upscaling algorithm, FSR 2.0 is based on a temporal algorithm. AMD developed it from scratch with the aim of offering a similar or better image than the native one, while ensuring an increase in frame rate. Similar to FSR 1.0, the new solution makes no use of machine learning, which is why it works on both AMD hardware and competing GPUs. Further technical details can be read in this article. The complete list of FSR compatible titles can be consulted who.
