AMD prepares Renoir-X (Ryzen 4000 without integrated) and Ryzen 5000 based on Zen3D for early 2022, plus Ryzen 6000 based on Zen 4 for July

A new rumor from “Enthusiastic Citizen” revealed new information on AMD and Intel’s new plans for next year, revealing a wealth of information about the different lines of processors and motherboards that we will see throughout the year.

The first thing we will see will be the Renoir-X CPUs, versions of the Ryzen 4000 APUs without integrated that will arrive to compete against Intel’s low-end, particularly the Core i3 line, offering good performance at a low price for owners of an AM4 platform. . In addition, it will launch new Zen 3D-based CPUs during CES 2022, which will eventually arrive under the Ryzen 5000 line and not the Ryzen 6000 line as originally believed.

The big news will arrive in July with the launch of the Zen 4 processors, which will finally arrive as Ryzen 6000 and not Ryzen 7000 as originally believed. Along with these processors, the X670 and B650 motherboards will be launched, which will support DDR5 and PCI-E 5.0, providing all the novelties that Intel has recently incorporated in Alder Lake.

On the Intel side, the company will launch its W790 platform with LGA 4677 socket, compatible with the new Xeon Sapphire Rapids CPUs with DDR5 and PCIE 5.0 that will replace the outdated X299 platform. A few months later, it will also release the 13th Raptor Lake processors. Generation for the LGA 1700 socket, alongside the new Z790 and B760 motherboards. These processors will also be compatible with all current 600 Series motherboards, and will support DDR4 in addition to DDR5, as is the case with Alder Lake.

It will be interesting to see how many of these rumors end up being true, although in the meantime we recommend taking them with a grain of salt, since they are precisely rumors. We will keep you updated as companies make their announcements, so stay tuned for HD Tecnología.

What do you think about these rumors? Which of these future releases are AMD Ryzen and Intel Core / Xeon most looking forward to?
