AMD prepares the Ryzen 5700/5100 and 4700, 10 new AM4 CPUs to launch in April

The list of new CPU Ryzen 5000/4000 it is even larger than previously reported. As far as we know, AMD is preparing the models Ryzen 7 5700, Ryzen 3 5100, and Ryzen 7 4700. And with this a total of ten new CPUs will be released.

The first release on April 4 includes six models, three from the 5000 series and three from the 4000 series. AMD will follow up with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D on April 20. Also, there are 3 new models that were not mentioned before, the 5700, 5100 and 4700, which will also supposedly be released next month.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D – April 20 (availability)
  • AMD Ryzen 5700X/5600/5500/4600G/4500/4100 – April 4 (availability)
  • AMD Ryzen 5700/5100/4700 – April to be confirmed (Availability)

AMD will also be upgrading its Ryzen 4000 with a Zen2 Renoir-X CPU, which are pretty much the exact same processors as the 4000G series, except the integrated Vega graphics are disabled and some minor changes to speeds.

The Ryzen 5000/4000 have now been segmented into 5 different silicons: Vermeer, Vermeer-X, Cezanne, Renoir, and Renoir-X. They will have to pay attention and see which models have integrated graphics and, of course, if they are compatible with their motherboards.

This launch of 10 new processors is likely AMD’s last effort to push the AM4 platform before the company switches to AM5/DDR5 later this year.
