AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 from MSI can be found in the picture

Sunday, July 7, was the symbolic launch date for AMD’s new products manufactured at 7 nanometers. On the graphics side, this was represented by the graphics cards Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT. The launch only included the reference design with AMD’s own cooler solution, while partner-made variants will have to wait until August.

As full focus has been on Sunday’s launches, AMD’s partner companies have naturally not communicated about upcoming designers with their own cooling solutions. Via the German publication Hardwareluxx, images from a product presentation from MSI are now available on the web, with details of the company’s upcoming Radeon RX 5700 products.

The upcoming lineup consists of four models for the Radeon RX 5700 XT and three models for the Radeon RX 5700. These range from the simpler series Air Boost and Mech OC to the more performance-oriented Evoke OC and Gaming. The product images especially highlight the Mech series, which is equipped with double fans of the Torx Fan 2.0 variant and a rear cover plate in brushed metal.

The pictures do not reveal how many power connections are used to power the card, but an interesting detail can be seen among the picture outputs on the Mech OC card shown. The array of image outputs shows a DVI port, something that is missing in AMD’s reference designer for both the Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT.

A novelty that is also revealed in the presentation pictures is that a subscription to Xbox Game Pass for PC now seems to be included instead of stand-alone titles. AMD’s partner manufacturers will launch self-designed graphics cards with their own cooling solutions in August, and until then, more product designers will be looking for themselves on the web.
