AMD Radeon RX Vega is rumored to get a price tag in line with the Geforce GTX 1080 Ti

This is a serious countdown to the AMD Radeon RX Vega for consumers. The graphics circuit will be launched at the Siggraph technology conference at the end of the month, and is expected to land in stores during the late summer. As a warm-up, a first round of price information is now being sought out on the internet.

Sources at SweClockers highlight European price levels around 900 to 1,000 EUR including VAT, which is also confirmed by several contacts in the Swedish market. That means in round robins SEK 9,000 including VAT for the top model – in line with really lavish variants of the Geforce GTX 1080 Ti.

The information comes from the distributor level, which in turn collects target prices from AMD and partner manufacturers. This is not to say that the levels match what applies at launch. Among other competitors, Nvidia often issues inflated price tags in the first round, so as not to reveal all the cards in advance.

Leaked data is supported, with results in the same region as Geforce GTX 1070 and Geforce GTX 1080.
