This week, two new major titles will be released for PC, which consist of the Windows version of Final Fantasy XV which is launched today and Swedish Fatshark’s Warhammer: Vermintide 2 which will be rolled out on Friday. Now AMD is following in Nvidia’s footsteps and releasing a new graphics card driver with official support for the games.
In addition to optimizations for the new games, the driver will provide a performance boost in Dota 2, where 6 percent higher frame rate can be downloaded when playing in 4K UHD with a Radeon RX 580 according to the company’s measurements.
In addition, the driver will solve crash problems in Sea of Thives and fix graphics bugs in Middle-earth: Shadow of War and World of Tanks when multiple graphics cards are used. Radeon Software Adrenaline Edition 18.3.1 is available for download through the company website.
