At the end of last year, OnePlus released a beta version of the Hydrogen OS, which is based on Android 9. The latest reports say that the system is starting to reach the first 5 and 5T users from China in a stable version.
The version number is HydrogenOS 9.0.1 and the update weighs just over 2 GB. It is quite large, but the number of changes is just as huge. We do not know, however, when the update will start outside of China. It may take a while for the company to come out.
The new system brings everything that we could expect from it. OnePlus mentions, among other things, a new user interface, improved stability, better “do not disturb” mode and 3.0 game mode. Any news introduced by Android 9 Pie is also present.
