Arc A310, Intel’s least powerful desktop video card of all

In the range of video cards Intel Arc check an unexpected patterneven less powerful than the Arc A380, called Arc A310. The new proposal from Intel, traceable on the company’s websiteis based on an ACM-G11 GPU with only 6 active Xe-cores, 64-bit bus and 4GB of GDDR6 memory at 15.5Gbps.

The big sister, to give you an idea, offers 8 Xe-cores, 96-bit bus and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory at the same speed (all the details here). Despite the tightening of specs, the Arc A310 has the same TBP as the A380, that is 75W. The GPU clock is also listed at 2000 MHz as the most powerful proposition.

Arc A310 it may only appear on pre-assembled PCs due to its features and, at this point, only in certain regions – for example in Asia. Meanwhile, after learning the price and US launch date of the Arc A770, Intel still has the A750 and A580 models to officially “launch”.

For Italy at the moment everything is silent, which makes us seriously think that we will not see a third player in our home GPU market for some time yet; maybe we will have to wait for the second generation of Arc cards, codenamed Battlemage, but we hope to have different news soon.
