ArcFlash Labs has developed the world’s first Gauss GR-1 manual rifle. It’s an electromagnetic weapon

ArcFlash Labs has started collecting pre-orders for the world’s first Gauss hand rifle. We are talking about the GR-1, which fires metal projectiles not due to a chemical reaction and a microblash, but electrified coils to generate a magnetic field.

Gauss Rifle ArcFlash Labs is the world’s first hand gun solenoid. Price? 3375 $

The way the Gauss rifle works is nothing new and goes back to the first half of the 19th century. However, it is still a rarity on the market, because the development of this weapon was largely displaced by more effective firearms. However, the Gauss GR-1 hand rifle still impresses with its capabilities. ArcFlash Labs boasts that it fires iron-rich metal bullets (see comparison below) at speeds of up to 75 meters per second and a rate of fire of up to 100 rounds per minute.

The operation of the GR-1 is based on a 25-volt lithium-ion battery that powers all electronic equipment at a rate that allows you to fire a fully charged shot almost every three seconds. The sensitivity of the gun’s trigger system allows it to pre-charge the coils with half-pull the trigger before firing a shot. The projectile accelerates due to the magnetic field generated by the electrified coils that accelerate the ferromagnetic projectiles.

Above you can see the GR-1 test in practice and if you are wondering how this manual electromagnetic rifle worked, it was not a simple toy at all. It can kill. This is certain, and although it is not handy and it is difficult to compare its capabilities to full-fledged firearms.
