Asus launches Geforce GTX 750 Ti Strix with 4 GB video memory

Large amounts of video memory benefit gaming in high resolutions, but it also applies that the graphics processor keeps up with the turns. Despite this, there is demand for graphics cards in the lower price ranges with hefty memory volumes, something Asus now delivers with a new version of the Geforce GTX 750 Ti Strix.

The parade number for the newcomer is a full 4 GB of GDDR5 memory – twice as much as the 2 GB usually found in most GTX 750 Ti variants. It is worth mentioning that the GM107 graphics circuit is not a cut-off story, which means that unlike the more expensive Geforce GTX 970, it should be able to use the entire 4 GB of large memory without odd and hitherto unknown limitations.

In addition, the graphics card retains the same specifications as the previous Strix model. These are 640 CUDA cores at 1,124 and 1,202 MHz at base respective boost, up from Nvidia’s reference frequencies 1,020 and 1,085 MHz. It also means that the massive memory remains at 5,400 MHz, for a bandwidth of 86.4 GB / s.

The Asus Geforce GTX 750 Ti Strix with 4 GB GDDR5 is already available in stores at the recommended price of SEK 2,190, around the same price range as for many Geforce GTX 960 and AMD Radeon R9 280 models.
