The well-known Republic of Gamers series consists of components for hard-boiled performance hunters and overclockers. Graphics cards include worsts like Ares and Mars, but now Asus plans to expand the family with lower-priced graphics cards for everyday users.
At the Computex trade show, Asus demonstrated the new Geforce GTX 770 ROG Poseidon with the DirectCU H2O hybrid cooler. The latter is primarily intended for water cooling, but can also be used with air only thanks to the built-in fan, which is recognizable from the Geforce GTX 670 DC Mini.
Asus has not yet revealed any more detailed specifications, but announces that the Geforce GTX 770 ROG Poseidon will be available at retailers in early September. The same cooler will also be used for more models later in the year.
