MOSCOW, 29 Sep — PRIME. Beeline and Tele2 will support mobilized employees with additional payments, Tele2 is also considering providing psychological and legal assistance to their families. This was told to RIA Novosti by the press service of mobile operators.
RIA Novosti sent a request to Beeline, Tele2, Megafon and MTS about what measures are being taken to support mobilized employees.
The Beeline press service noted that “the company will provide additional payments and other support measures, for example, VMI policies for their family members.”
Representatives of Tele2 reported that the operator is ready to “comprehensively support” those who received the summons as part of the partial mobilization, as well as volunteers. The mobilized workers will keep their VHI insurance policies, and their families will receive psychological and legal assistance and, “in exceptional cases,” will receive payments of up to five million rubles.
“The company to support mobilized employees and volunteers: guarantees return to work at Tele2 after the end of military service, keeps cash payments in the amount of average earnings for the period of service, pays a lump sum of 100 thousand rubles from the company or an amount in the amount of one official salary, if it is exceeds 100 thousand rubles,” the press service of Tele2 emphasized.
Earlier Thursday, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development asked the heads of IT companies and telecom operators to provide mobilized employees with monthly payments in the amount of at least 80% of wages, pay several salaries at a time, and issue VHI policies for families.
