Best Overclock Settings HiveOS for 40 + Video Cards: AMD/ GPU/ Windows/ Micron/ Samsung/ Hynix/ HASHRATE/ CORE/ MEM/ PL / PRODUCER/ MINER– The following article presents the various overclocking settings of various graphics cards found on the Internet for the Ethash algorithm (it is used by Ethereum, among others).

Hiveos Overclock settings: Convenient Operating System

Are you looking for an efficient solution to manage mining processes and monitor ASICs and GPU rigs? Today, the market leader is the  Hive OS system  and below we will look at it in more detail. It is a convenient operating system that meets all the needs of both new miners and owners of the largest mining farms.

The list of tasks that can be performed on Hive OS is really impressive:

For convenience, use the Table of Contents below this paragraph – thanks to this, you will quickly find the graphics card you are interested in. Random order, they may repeat themselves. All graphics card results come from HiveOS. Each card is different, so the results obtained may also be different.

Although the settings were made on HiveOS, it is possible that they will also work on Windows. Remember to use twice the memory clock speed.

Optimize the system: HiveOS Overclock

In order to reduce energy consumption or increase mining performance, most miners today use so-called overclocking profiles. Here, for example, the core clock of a graphics card is lowered, since the memory is the main factor here. However, this can vary somewhat depending on the graphics card and cryptocurrency, so you should find out in detail which are the best settings for your hardware.

Hive OS offers you a great tool for this: the so-called “Overclocking Presets”. Here you can see which settings other miners use for the hardware you use.

RTX 3090 Overclock Settings Hiveos

Hive OS is an operating system capable of providing a perfect management platform for the use of your device, while being able to configure, monitor and manage your mining. The platform supports GPUs, AMD or Nvidia, and Bitmain ASICs (S9, A3, D3, L3+), all managed in a single place. These are all things you and your team need to keep the mining farm at its peak.

Hive OS is suitable even for very large farms

Do you manage thousands of workers? Hive OS allows you to monitor up to 200,000 devices at the same time. Furthermore, the changes can also be massively applied to devices.

Thanks to the network setting function, you can attach workers with a few clicks. Once installed, all workers will be automatically recognized and added to their respective accounts and farms.

Micron

Are you looking for an efficient solution to manage cryptocurrency mining processes, monitor ASICs and GPU rigs? The first thing you need to take care of is installing an appropriate operating system.

If Windows is still preferred by new miners, experienced miners with a large number of GPUs will prioritize choosing an operating system that is stable and reduces maximum resource usage. Hive OS is one of them.

Overclocking GPU

With Hive OS, you can get the ultimate performance from your GPU rigs, thereby generating more revenue.

You can set different access levels

If you have a whole team working on your farm, you can set up different access rights for them. For example, you can give your administrator full access to the farm and your technicians only supervise properly. This way you will protect your income.

Auto tagging

You can give Hive OS specific criteria and the system will divide your employees into groups. This is done automatically and provides easier handling.

What is the difference between a regular Hive OS update and a required update?

With a forced update, the repositories are cleaned, updated, and their installation is also repeated. To do this, enter the following commands (one by one) to your Worker:

  • apt update
  • selfupgrade

The temperature controller

If one of your devices somehow reaches a critical temperature, a special controller automatically restarts the worker or stops the mining process, which prevents damage to the device.

You can then create your own “Overclocking Template”, which is either copied directly from a preset or created manually. Basically, the setting options differ between Nvidia and AMD graphics cards.

Overclocking is easiest with Nvidia, since it is reduced to the clock, the memory clock, the fan speed and the power limit.

You can then accept and activate an “overclocking template” for each graphics card or for all graphics cards in a system.

You can see how much overclocking or optimization brings in the two following images (pay particular attention to the hash rate at the beginning and the power consumption at the end of the table rows): Status without optimization / overclocking optimized status

Note2: It is imperative to monitor the applied voltages.
Adding voltage will cause your components to heat up much more than originally, be it GPU, memory or power stages (VRM).
The last option (Force constant voltage) is not recommended for daily use, this option makes the VRMs work much more.
