Can I use a regular flash drive and mine on a personal computer?

Yes, with Hive OS it is possible because the operating system itself weighs less than regular Windows. Typically, this method is used when they want to test the Hive OS, but for permanent use, it’s not the best option.

The fact is that the reading speed of a USB drive is too slow for a proper digging process. They often break with constant use. It is recommended to use an SSD with the minimum capacity or an existing hard disk.

No connection to the platformA common problem that is not always a problem. Hive OS has so-called agents that send up-to-date information to the server once at a certain time. For example, during startup, you may not have time to update the information and you will assume the farm is down. Another option is the file system.

Access may be incorrectly configured. The agent will not be able to save temporary files and send them to the server. However, when installing the operating system, all settings are set correctly, if they have not changed, this option cannot even be considered.

There may also be internet connection problems, such as temporary problems with the provider. To test the connection, you can use the remote access command: net-test. If the server responds, everything is fine.
