The popular crypto-exchange continues to diversify its activities with the upcoming launch of its own mining pool.
According to specialized Russian media Coinlife, Binance is preparing to launch its mining pool. The information was quickly confirmed by the CEO-co-founder of the company, Changpeng Zhao, on Twitter.
Yes, there will soon be a Binance Mining Pool. A new addition to our suite of Binance Finance products that we offer, which includes Staking, Earn, Savings and Loans, ” he said.
The cryptocurrency exchange has reportedly already hired several cryptocurrency mining experts who previously worked for the Chinese specialist Bitmain and would hope to offer their product by this summer.
With this new offer, Binance join other major Asian cryptocurrency exchange platforms, such as Huobi and OKex, having already launched their own mining pool since last year.
According to Alejandro de la Torre, the vice president of Pooling, one of the largest mining pools on the planet, exchanges embark on the miningbecause it’s the cheapest way to get liquidity on their platform.
