According to Steve Forbes, chairman and chief editor of Forbes, Bitcoin has become a “call for help” for ordinary people who do not believe in the traditional financial system.
Forbes said Bitcoin has become as reliable a coin as gold, which has been pursuing its position for thousands of years. He also noted that although the volatility of Bitcoin is quite large, its role in the future of the financial industry is difficult to overestimate.
“Bitcoin plays a very important role. It helps people in difficult situations around the world, allows you to bypass governments that want to control you, want you to starve, and want to harm you, ”Forbes said.
In May of this year, Monero lead developer Riccardo Spagni announced that Bitcoin will always have competitors, but that it can become the world’s reserve currency.
