Yesterday at the World Digital Mining Summit event, co-founder of Bitmain Jihan Wu announced the new AS17 series ASIC miners with an increased number of chips – Antminer S17 + and Antminer T17 +.
“New miners have become more productive and energy efficient. The Antminer S17 + hashrate is 73 Th / s, and the energy efficiency indicator is 40 J / Th plus or minus 10%. Antminer T17 + has a hash rate of 64 Th / s and an energy efficiency of 50 J / Th + 10%, ”says the Bitmain blog.
“The presented Antminer models are at the forefront of innovation in mining,” said Jihan Wu.
Starting in October, sales of the first batch of new ASIC miners will begin, the delivery date of which is scheduled for December 1-10.
Recall that in late September, Bitmain announced
launch of a platform on which owners of cryptocurrency mining equipment and owners of mining farms can quickly find each other for discussion and organization of cooperation.
