Croatia Post has Launched a Cryptocurrency Exchange Service for Cash

Croatian Post announced a test launch of a cryptocurrency exchange service for cash in the city of Zadar. The service is provided in partnership with Electrocoin.

Post office clients can exchange BTC, ETH, XLM, XRP and EOS for cash. As part of a pilot project, the service was launched in three post offices in the city in order to assess the relevance of the service. If the service becomes popular, then similar services will appear in other major cities and tourist centers of Croatia.

The Croatian postal service partner, Electrocoin, has been a Bitcoin broker for over five years and has been operating throughout the European Union.

Croatian Post is not the first postal service, which turned its attention to cryptocurrency. So, in February of this year, the postal service of Liechtenstein Post AG began
sell bitcoin. To this end, Post AG works with Värdex Suisse, which manages the largest network of cryptomattes in Switzerland with 26 different branches.
