Crypto Finance AG raises 14 million Swiss francs

The Swiss company specializing in cryptocurrencies Crypto Finance AG just finished a Series B financing round of 14 million Swiss francs and plans to use the funds to expand internationally.

Started earlier this fall, the fundraising of Crypto Finance AG fell behind following the coronavirus crisis and was finally completed this month.

I am delighted to share this news on this Series B financing. This allows us to pursue our vision and strategy to provide professional crypto asset management, trading and infrastructure to the market, ”commented Jan Brzezek, Founding CEO of Crypto Finance AG.

Led by seasoned Swiss investor Rainer-Marc Frey and the venture capital company Lingfeng Capital, the financing round of 14 million Swiss francs, or around 13 million euros, also attracted QBN Capital and other unlisted investors.

With just over half of its activity linked to international clients, Crypto Finance AG will use this new funding to continue its international expansion, particularly in Asia, and to develop its products and services.

Following the operation and at the next general meeting, we learn that Tong will run to join the board of directors of Crypto Finance AG.

The Swiss company also plans to embark on the crypto derivatives market and is currently applying for the necessary license.
