CyberPowerPC reveals its “Kinetic” cabinet, with 18 openings that move according to the temperature of your PC

The CyperpowerPC cabinet has vents that are controlled by 18 servo motors. The general idea is that the vents can remain closed, dampening the noise of the fans and preventing dust from entering when the temperatures are low, but they start to open up so there is more air flow when temperatures get higher.

Cabinet vents can be adjusted to open or close with “every change in temperature”. “It senses the environment and they constantly open and close to adapt to the situation,” says the company.

Of course, the attractiveness of all this will depend on how noisy the servo motors are and the whole mechanism working. And since we haven’t seen the cabinet in person or on video yet, it’s impossible to tell how it comes in on that. The company said it is still adjusting how the motorized mechanism will work.

The Kinetic enclosure will be available in black or white, supports up to 360mm radiators, up to seven 120mm fans (or five 140mm), and ATX motherboards.

The Cyberpower Kinetic will not be something cheap, the company expects it to sell for a price, which you could say is reasonable, of $ 249.
