Intel, as part of an interview with the site HotHardware, revealed the features of the mascot of the first Intel dedicated cards since the i740 in 1998. As known, the GPU on board of these solutions has been called Alchemist and, if there are no range updates from the competition, it will deal with the Ampere and Navi 2x GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD respectively.

Alchemist is the name of a fantasy character that Intel will use in promotional material and who, as a good alchemist, will try to to transform less noble metals into gold. Will he make it? The company also unveiled the artwork of characters paired with the next series of GPUs coming in the future and who respond to the names of Battlemage, Celestial e Druid, all classes of fantasy games such as Elder Scrolls, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons and Dragons to name a few.
