Feel the game on your skin thanks to Razer’s HyperSense technology

Vibration-emitting motors are nothing new in the computer periphery, but so far no manufacturer has attempted to standardize this innovation into some technology. Fortunately, Razer did it, which announced the further development of the HyperSense technology presented a month ago.

Although “Hyper-Sense” is at the moment in the prototype stage, Razer has already entered into cooperation with several manufacturers to create, among others, a special chair and a wrist rest landing on the keyboard. Razer will solve the issue of peripherals such as mice, keyboards and headsets. All because HyperSens received a really warm reception a month ago, because according to many applications, it will simply bring the immersion in games to the next level. That’s why Razer invoked its revolutionary Chroma lighting system, announcing that HyperSens will hit (or at least so they hope) many devices.

If all goes well, we will be able to equip ourselves with a whole set of HyperSens compatible peripherals in the future. These will connect with each other, giving us an additional feeling from the game through vibrations and “feedback”, which will have to be programmed by the game developers themselves. While the mouse, keyboard and wrist support will inform us about subtle phenomena (steps, shots), the chair and headset will take care of recreating explosions and all kinds of “unpleasant sensations of the main character”. While that sounds great, Razer is aiming for something really hard to achieve.
