File or folder renaming problem in Windows 11/10

Fix: change registry entries

1. Press Windows y R keyboard keys to open the To run dialogue.

2. Type regedit and hit Get into to open Registry editor.

3. Click Yes And User account control the pide.

4. Before making changes to the registry, keep a backup copy of the registry to restore in case you run into any other problems due to registry modifications.

  • Click on File -> Export …
  • Please select Export range What Everything.
  • Choose a location to save the registry backup file.
  • Give a file Name and click Save money.

5. Go to the location below or copy and paste it into the Registry navigation bar.

6. Once you reach the Folder Descriptions key, find the folders mentioned below. You also can Remove The rename these folders.

7. The right button of the mouse in the folder and choose Rename and change the name. Add suffix to folder like _VIEJO.

8. Once you have finished changing the above 5 folders, restart your system.

9. After starting the system, check if you can rename the files or folders.
