[Fix:] Windows Media Player is missing on a Windows 11 PC

How to install Windows Media Player again in Windows 11

Paso 1: Open the optional features page in the Settings app.

press To win key on your keyboard and type Optional features.

Click on Optional features from the search results as shown below.

Paso 2: On the optional features page

Click on See features button on the Add an optional feature As shown below.

Paso 3: In the Add an optional role window

Click in the search bar and type windows media player.

After typing, Windows Media Player appears below the search bar.

Then click Windows Media Player check box as shown in the following screenshot.

Finally, click on next to proceed.

Paso 4: In the next window

Click Install on pc to start the installation process.

Paso 5: Once the installation process begins, wait until it completes.

Once installed, you can see the successful installation message on the optional features page as shown below.

Now you can find Windows Media Player on your system by pressing the Win key and typing Windows Media Player.
