Follow Nvidia’s keynote from the GPU Technology Conference today at 5:30 p.m.

Today, Nvidia kicks off its GPU Technology Conference (GTC), which, like last year, will be a digital event due to the current corona pandemic. GTC is historically the company’s arena to showcase the latest technology and products for the enterprise and data center market. At the same time, it is not uncommon to be offered a first look at graphics architectures that later take up space in consumer hardware.

The event begins with a live keynote, where Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang takes a seat in his kitchen to talk about what the company has been working on recently. Exactly what will be shown is still unknown, but it is no big deal that it may be about more additions to the Quadro family as well as technology for AI and self-driving cars. Last year, for example, the DGX A100 supercomputer system was shown for the first time, which gave a taste of the Ampere architecture with the A100 mammoth circuit.

Nvidia’s live keynote kicks off tonight at 17:30. The GPU Technology Conference event runs through Friday, April 16, with sessions covering everything from game development and machine learning to supercomputers and healthcare.
