Gazprom’s exports to non-CIS countries decreased over 9.5 months

MOSCOW, 17 Oct – PRIME. Gazprom’s exports to non-CIS countries for 9.5 months of this year decreased by 41.4% compared to the same period last year – to 89.3 billion cubic meters of gas, the company said.

“Exports to non-CIS countries amounted to 89.3 billion cubic meters – 41.4% (63 billion cubic meters) less than in the same period in 2021. Gazprom’s exports to China continue to grow via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline under a bilateral long-term contract between the Russian company and CNPC. Deliveries regularly go beyond the daily contract quantities.

Demand for the company’s gas from the gas transmission system in the domestic market over this period decreased by 5.2%, or by 9.5 billion cubic meters.

Last year, the company increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 5.8 billion cubic meters to 185.1 billion. This was the fourth result in history.
