GeForce GTX 1660 Ti: GTX 1070 Performance!

GeForce GTX 1660 Ti: GTX 1070 Performance! – The alleged graphics card also outperforms comfortably GTX 1060.

Another Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti benchmark has surfaced online, which again demonstrates that the upcoming graphics card is reportedly expected to be roughly equivalent to the performance of the GTX 1070.

The benchmark dug out by TUM_APISAK, which remains the only source of GTX 1660 Ti benchmark leaks we’ve seen, with Ashes of Singularity 1080p results with Crazy graphics quality, which is very demanding.

The score reached by the 1660 Ti was 4800, which brings the GTX 1060 to 3800. The result is almost as fast as the GTX 1070, which squeezed out 4,900 points, and this is pretty much in line with previous leaked (and therefore untested) results. As you can see, the RTX 2060 scores up to 5500 points.

ASH TO ASH

In fact, we’ve already seen the Ashes of Singularity 1080p benchmark with “High” graphics details, where the GTX 1660 Ti scored 7400 points, remaining nearly 20% faster than the GTX 1060 (6200 points). So with the new “crazy” test, the 1660 Ti is about 25% faster. This means the estimated GPU will be 20-25% faster than the GTX 1060.

The previous Ashes score for the 1660 Ti remained roughly the same as the GTX 1070, plus the leaked Final Fantasy XV benchmark we got just yesterday actually proved the 1660 Ti to be slightly faster than the 1070.

And with a new Ashes benchmark showing the 1660 Ti is about 2% slower, it seems safe to assume that Nvidia’s new graphics cards will be able to keep up with the outgoing GTX 1070.

Despite this, I would like to add that these are only officially unconfirmed test leaks, in fact, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti has not even been confirmed by the manufacturer yet.

All of the evidence means graphics cards are about to arrive as we’ve seen several retail video card boxes already. Nvidia is expected to release new graphics cards later this week, so in theory there won’t be long waiting.

If you’re wondering what’s the difference between the 1660 Ti and Nvidia’s more powerful RTX cards, they are all based on the new Turing architecture, but the GTX model won’t get ray tracing technology or Nvidia’s various DvSS tricks (plus these cards aren’t that fast, obviously) …

However, we are confident that many users will be perfectly happy to live without ray tracing for the affordable price tag that will hopefully accompany the GTX 1660 Ti – rumored to be $ 279 (RUR 18,000 + VAT).

Here are the best graphics cards of 2019.
