Geforce RTX 3060 Ti will be the fourth “Ampere” card to enter the scene

As promised, the duo offers a significant increase in performance over the RTX 2000 series, but poor access and uncertainties about stability currently elude the newly launched products.

In October, AMD will follow up with the RDNA 2 and Radeon RX 6000 series, but during the month, Nvidia’s third Ampere card will also make its debut: the Geforce RTX 3070, which according to the company will perform on a par with an RTX 2080 Ti. Now Videocardz writes that two sources confirm that the next part in Nvidia’s rollout of the RTX 3000 series will be the RTX 3060 Ti, where data points to a release at the end of October.

The technology site describes that the Geforce RTX 3060 without the Ti suffix is ​​based on the circuit GA106, but that this is not ready for launch and that information about its launch window is missing. When it comes to the Ti sibling, however, the circuit GA104-200 must be nailed, which comes with 4,864 CUDA cores accompanied by 8 GB of GDDR6 memory – just like the RTX 3070. Speed ​​and bus width are specified at 14 Gbps and 256 bits, for memory bandwidth of 448 GB / s.
