Not only have specifications and performance tests been leaked for Nvidia’s upcoming mid-range Geforce GTX 960, now it’s time for partner manufacturers’ models to see the light of day. First out is Gigabyte, which is equipped with the GM206 graphics processor with a huge cooler in this context.

The model in question is the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960 G1 Gaming and is equipped with the company’s Windforce 3X cooler, which by all accounts is the same variant used for the GTX 970. This despite the fact that the newcomer comes with a low 120 W TDP, which could be cooled with less lavish donations.

Like the other GTX 960s, the graphics card is expected to come equipped with 1,024 CUDA cores, which are probably factory overclocked above the standard level of 1,127 MHz. This includes a 128-bit memory bus with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, which provides a bandwidth of 112 GB / s with a regular clock frequency of 7.0 GHz.

The launch of the Geforce GTX 960 takes place on January 22 and store availability is expected the same day. What the price will land on is not yet known, but since it replaces the GTX 760, a price tag of around SEK 2,000 and up is to be expected.
