Gigabyte makes the Geforce GTX 680 Windforce 5X with five 40 mm fans

Jet engine, hair dryer, hurricane and leaf blower. Dear child has many names, but that does not stop Gigabyte from using small and probably high-speed fans in an upcoming Geforce GTX 680 Super Overclock for overclockers and enthusiasts.

The radiator is called Windforce 5X, where the number stands for the number of fans. There are no less than five with a diameter of 40 mm, which is probably some kind of record in this context. The fans are of the same type used in rack servers and probably not very quiet. More details than that are not revealed, although Gigabyte of course has more tricks up its sleeve.
