On the occasion of the release ofEasyWallet, Global P.O.S is organizing a democratization campaign called " Crypto Everywhere "And developed with Havas Blockchain.
Launched discreetly in the fall of 2019, the campaign mixes street marketing and digital in order to perform the "first physical airdrop never done, "according to a press release shared with Cryptonaute.
For this operation, more than 10,000 Bitcoin chocolate coins have already, or will be, distributed by crypto enthusiasts across Paris but also a dozen major French cities.
"Make the invisible visible by showing that blockchain and cryptocurrencies are part of our daily lives. To do this, hundreds of photos are disseminated with the hashtag #CryptoEveryWhere. On each of them, Bitcoin chocolate coins taken from iconic or symbolic places, "the statement said.
The hundred bitcoiners mobilized by Global P.O.S takes the time to interact with the French in order to contribute to the adoption of the cryptocurrency and its underlying technology: blockchain.
“Cryptocurrencies still suffer from a negative image in France linked to misunderstanding and received ideas. The idea of this campaign was to make them visible to everyone through harmless activation, "said Fabien Aufrechter, director of Havas Blockchain.
The first phase of the campaign has recently ended, the second is scheduled for late January.
Payment solutions editor, Global P.O.S announced last September that around thirty major brands would be able to accept Bitcoin payments in 2020 thanks to its application EasyWallet.
